CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- (Paris Air Show) -- AgustaWestland has selected Goodrich Corporation to supply the rescue hoists for the Swiss Air-Rescue REGA Grand helicopter fleet to be used at mountain rescue bases located throughout Switzerland.
Under the terms of the contract, Goodrich's hoist and winch team, headquartered in Diamond Bar, Calif., will provide externally-mounted, DC electric rescue hoist systems and support structures with deliveries beginning in 2008.
According to Bob Strickland, European Business Development Manager for Goodrich's hoist and winch team, "We are delighted to be chosen as AgustaWestland's rescue hoist supplier for these helicopters.
