MIDLOTHIAN, Va., June 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SouthPeak Interactive Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SOPK; SOPKU; SOPKW; SOPKZ) announced today it will be co-publishing Igor The Game for the Wii(TM), Nintendo DS(TM) and PC. The game is based on the highly anticipated animated movie created by Exodus Film Group in cooperation with The Weinstein Company. MGM Studios is distributing the animated film in the United States, launching wide this September. Interactive Game Group ("I2G") is financing and coordinating the game project on a worldwide basis. Co-published and developed by Legacy Interactive in the US, Igor lures players through Malaria, a world where mad scientists create dubious inventions to compete in the annual Evil Science Fair.

"Legacy and I2G are doing a tremendous job bringing Igor into the virtual gaming world," said Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak Games. "This is a great property and promises to be a huge hit when it comes out this fall. We love the fact that the game is able to capture the elements of the film so well and turn it into a fun, interactive environment."

Igor, the movie, follows a hunchbacked lab assistant named Igor (voiced by John Cusack) forced to serve a mad scientist while dreaming of one day becoming a notorious mad scientist himself and winning the Evil Science Fair. Other stars contributing their voice talents to the film are Molly Shannon (as Eva), Steve Buscemi (as Scamper), Sean Hayes (as Brain) and Eddie Izzard (as the maniacal Dr. Schadenfreude).

In the Wii and PC versions of the game, players have the ability to choose one of the main characters (Igor, Eva, Scamper or Brain) and play either simultaneously or cooperatively with up to four people. They'll be challenged to play within locales from the film, fight enemies and achieve goals that advance them through the storyline.

The Nintendo DS version utilizes the stylus to perform movement combinations, combat enemies and solve puzzles. Players can custom build their own monsters to take on puzzle challenges and battle against other mad scientists.

"With Igor, we set forth to capture the unique mix of dark, yet playful aspects seen in the movie. It's a great game that can be enjoyed with both friends and family and will appeal to a younger audience as well," said Ariella Lehrer, President of Legacy Interactive.

Igor The Game will be available this September. For more information, please visit http://www.southpeakgames.com/ or http://www.igorgame.com/.

CCID Consulting: Sales Volume & Sales Revenue of China's Smart Cards Drop in 2008

BEIJING, June 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- CCID Consulting, China's leading research, consulting and IT outsourcing service provider, and the first Chinese consulting firm listed in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Stock Exchange: HK08235), recently released its article on China's smart cards market in 2008Q1.

    Applications Saturates, Whole Market Shrinks

The sales volume of China's smart card market reaches 250 million sets and the sales revenue reaches 1.32 billion Yuan in 2008Q1, a mild decrease compared to 2007Q1. Although the shipment of mobile communication cards has experienced some increase compared to 2007Q1, with the ID card market becoming mature, smart card market in the field of ID card shrinks, which affect the development of the whole market.

The sales volume of China's mobile communication cards in 2008Q1 increases 12.5% over 2007Q1. The major impetus is changing card of China's huge mobile phone users and monthly enormous new users. Compared with 2007Q1, mobile communication card's capability upgrades; card's single price is higher than the price in last year. Therefore, the sales revenue of mobile communications card in 2008Q1 has larger growth than 2007Q1.

Figure 1: Sales Volume of China's Smart Card Market in 2008Q1 http://www.ccidconsulting.com/upload/13238.jpg Source: CCID Consulting, April 2008 CPU Cards Stay Mainstream, with Sales Revenue Exceeding Memory Cards

As product structure, China's smart cards' major application market is ccupied by mobile communication cards with CPU cards as the major medium in long-term. CPU cards occupy the major market share in 2008Q1, whose market share is 74.2%. And this structure is not likely to undergo changes in short- term. With the decrease of the shipment of memory card ID card, CPU cards' market share will pick up. As for sales revenue, CPU card market exceeds memory card. The major reason is the decrease of the shipment of memory cards.

Figure 2: Proportion Comparison of Product Structures' Sales Volume & Sales Revenue in China's Smart Card Market in 2008Q1

http://www.ccidconsulting.com/upload/13239.jpg Source: CCID Consulting, April 2008 Mobile Communication Card Product Restructure

In 2008Q1, as for mobile communication card structure, GSM data business has absolute advantage in China Mobile communication business, and SIM cards applied in G network are still the principal part of mobile communication cards. In 2008Q1, the shipment of card reaches 155 million, which has little growth over 2007Q1. The shipment of UIM cards applied in C network is steady, whose market share keeps same level with 2007Q1; PIM cards which are applied in PHS is still difficult to gloze its atrophic trend, whose market share continues to decrease. In 2008Q1, the obvious change in product structure is the appearance of USIM cards which are applied in 3G network. Because China's 3G network is still in probation period and there are only eight cities which begin to provide 3G network service, although the shipment of USIM card is small, it breaks through the old product structure of China Mobile communication cards.

http://www.ccidconsulting.com/upload/13240.jpg Source: CCID Consulting, April 2008

Ten Major Manufacturers Command the Market, with Mobile Communication Cards Playing an Important Role

Currently, there are only two foreign manufacturers -- Euronext and Giesecke & Devrient in China's top ten manufacturers in the smart card market. With the local manufacturers' growth, these two manufacturers' market shares will shrink. In 2008Q1 smart cards' brand structure, the top ten smart card manufacturers' shipments account for 90% of the total market. In the smart card market with furious competition, other manufacturers are difficult to return major manufacturers list.

Figure 4: Manufacturer Structure of China's Smart Card Market in 2008Q1 (By Sales Volume)

http://www.ccidconsulting.com/upload/13241.jpg Source: CCID Consulting, April 2008

In 2008Q1, the sales volume and sales revenue of Euronext still occupy first; the next is Eastcom Peace; the third one is DaTang; the fourth one is WatchData; the fifth one is Giesecke & Devrient. The top ten manufacturers are the mobile communication cards' suppliers. Although the profit of mobile communication card is lower, the income which its great sales volume brings could affect its ranking. As mobile communication cards' supplier, mobile carriers' purchases play important role in China's card manufacturers.

"It's an honor to be recognized for our mission of 'doing well in business while doing good in the community.'"

The 2008 World's Most Ethical Companies methodology committee is comprised of leading attorneys and government officials, professors and leaders who care about ethical and honest business practices.

"Salesforce.com is among the companies honored this year because they have developed impressive and meaningful ethical business practices, making them true standouts within their industries," said Alexander Brigham, executive director of Ethisphere Institute. Ethisphere analysts reviewed codes of ethics, litigation and regulatory infraction histories; evaluated investment in innovation and sustainable business practices; looked at companies' activities to improve corporate citizenship; studied nominations from senior executives, industry peers, suppliers and customers; and worked with consumer action groups for feedback and rating. Chemistry.com Celebrates California's Decision to Legalize Gay MarriageFree Seven-Day Memberships from the Dating Site that says 'Come As You Are'

DALLAS, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- To acknowledge and celebrate California's historic ruling to overturn the state's ban on gay marriage, Chemistry.com today announces it will offer free seven-day memberships to anyone in the state of California who visits http://www.chemistry.com/offer/ChemistryCelebrates on Monday, June 16, the same day San Francisco will begin issuing marriage licenses.

    (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20080613/LAF006LOGO)

"Chemistry.com has always had an open, non-judgmental philosophy," said Mandy Ginsberg, general manager of Chemistry.com. "We are delighted that California will offer equal opportunity for all couples who want to declare their commitment. As a result, we have decided to offer this seven-day free trial as a symbol of our support, and as a way for all Californians to begin the process of finding someone they can commit to."

Chemistry.com's "Come As You Are" mantra has created a destination that is attracting millions of diverse and creative people who are looking for the kind of relationship that fits their needs and their life-philosophy -- whether it's a marriage, long-term commitment, or romance.

After just two years, Chemistry.com has become a leading online relationship site, thanks in large measure to its approach to matching singles. Chemistry.com's system is based upon decades of research into human attraction by Dr. Helen Fisher, an acclaimed biological anthropologist. Dr. Fisher continues to conduct her research today and uses her findings to capture deep personality characteristics that yield chemistry-inspired matches.

Chemistry.com's support of gay rights and gay marriage has been a part of its practices and values since its inception. Last year, the brand launched a marketing campaign that challenged the exclusionary practices of eHarmony -- a California company -- for barring gays from its site. This effort included an advertising campaign that received national attention for its bold challenge, in media outlets including NPR, Newsweek, The New York Times and in hundreds of blogs. On June 16th, residents of California may redeem seven free days on Chemistry.com by visiting http://www.chemistry.com/offer/ChemistryCelebrates.

    About Chemistry.com

Launched by Match.com in February 2006, Chemistry.com was created to bring together independent-thinking, confident, diverse singles that are serious about finding a meaningful relationship. Based on the research of renowned biological anthropologist Dr. Helen Fisher, Chemistry.com uses a proprietary test to predict which two people are most likely to experience a life-changing jolt of chemistry. This approach, combined with its "come as you are" philosophy and private matching technique, makes Chemistry.com the ideal place to find the relationship that is right for each individual, whether it's marriage, romance, a partnership or a long-term commitment. Dubai China Sourcing Fairs Attract 7,113 Volume Buyers

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, June 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- More than 7,000 importers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and other volume buyers attended Global Sources' second annual China Sourcing Fair events in Dubai.

    (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20030303/LNM011LOGO-b )

The three-day, co-located events included the China Sourcing Fairs: Gifts & Home Products, Electronics and Fashion Accessories. The exhibitions grew 60 percent from 2007's inaugural events, and featured manufacturers from Greater China.

Visitors came from throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Europe to attend the 2008 Fairs. Representatives from some of the top buying offices attended the Fairs, including Jumbo Electronics, Ace Hardware, Max department stores, Shoemart, Home Centre and others.

"There are lots of new products here, and a variety that you can't get in Dubai. The UAE is one of the biggest growing markets at the moment. Everyone from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain comes to Dubai to source. It's the hub. It's important to meet people face-to-face under one roof. I will definitely come back next year," said Rubina Khan, Managing Director of the UAE-based company Al Musalla.

"China produces the world's electronics. China is important because the prices are good. We're looking for GPS, AVL and navigators at the show. We first searched for manufacturers online, and today we had direct contact with them at the show. We expect to do business with those suppliers we met here. It's been a good opportunity for us," said Pars Ta, Manager at the Tehran- based company Pars Ta.

"We have been very pleased with the success of this year's event," said Global Sources Executive Director Sarah Benecke. "Trade between China and the UAE grew 40 percent last year, to reach US$20 billion. As trade with the MENA region increases, it is clear that the China Sourcing Fairs can play a role in expanding those trade relationships by introducing the region's volume buyers to Greater China's competitive manufacturers," added Benecke.

The China Sourcing Fairs will be held next year again at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, June 14-16, 2009. Details are available at http://www.chinasourcingfair.com/dubai .
