Holtek is delighted to now announce the release of a new Vista Optical Mouse Controller device offering, namely the HT82M28A. Containing the usual 3D and both 3-key and 5-key functions and capable of interfacing to both AVAGO and PIXART sensor types, the HT82M28A’s fully supports the new Microsoft Vista wheel tilt functions. This new device works together with the AVAGO 2610, 2620, 5020 and PIXART 3101 Optical Mouse Sensors and provides users with a wide 400 to 1600 DPI resolution choice range.

is a Plug and Play 3D USB Mouse controller. The HT82M28A can support the USB Standard Request as well as HID Class Request version 1.1. The Z-axis can support only Z/2 encoder scroller input. It requires minimal external components to implement 3D and Windows Vista 7 key USB mouse. All its features combined and make up this versatile Holtek 8-bit MCU with an on-chip USB interface logic. The USB is specified by the Universal Serial Bus Specification V2.0. The USB product of 5 key mode is 2083H, and the USB product of 3 key mode is 2082H.
