VERTICAL FREQUENCY, NO HORIZONTAL FOCUS, NO STEP DOWN O PTION FOR DC/DC CONVERTER, - NO I2C FREE RUNNING ADJUSTMENT, - FIXED HORIZONTAL DUTY CYCLE (48%), - I NCREAS ED MAXI MUM STORAGE T IME OF THE HORIZONTAL SCANNING TRANSISTOR. DESCRIPTION The TDA9109/SN is a monolithic integrated circuit assembled in 32-pin shrink dual in line plastic package. This IC controls all the functions related to the horizontal and vertical deflection in multimode or multi-frequency computer display monitors. The internal sync processor, combined with the very po we rfu l g eo met ry co rrect ion b lo ck make the TDA9109/SN suitable for very high performance monitors, using very few external components. The horizontal jitter level is very low. It is particularly well suited for high-end 15" and 17" monitors. Co mbined with th e ST7 275 Microcontro lle r family, T DA9206 (Video pre amplifi er) a nd STV9 42x (On-Scre en Displ ay co ntroll er) the TDA9109 /SN al lows f ully I2 C bus contr oll ed comp uter disp lay monitor s to be bu ilt with a reduce d n umb er of exte rna l c ompo nents.
