|Description||10-bit 2.2Gsps ADC
The AT84AS008GL ADC is a high linearity 10-bit 2.2 Gsps version that offers significant improvements in performance while retaining the same functions and I/O interface as the TS83102G0B 10-bit 2 Gsps ADC. The SNR [Signal to Noise Ratio] shows a 10 dB improvement, leading to an ENOB [Effective Number Of bits] of 8 bits at 1.7 Gsps and 7.7 bits at 2.2 Gsps in Nyquist conditions. Furthermore, the FFT response throughout the 1st and 2nd Nyquist zones is now very clean and stable, allowing new possibility for corrections with Look-Up Tables. The improved performance and pin-to-pin compatibility (footprint/functions/electrical I/Os) with the TS83102G0B ADC give designers the ability to rapidly upgrade their existing boards or to design new systems with enhanced performance, without any thermal issue since the AT84AS008GL dissipate 10% less power than the TS83102G0BGL.
