| Part: | SH7147F |
| Category: | Microcontrollers => 16 bit |
| Description: | 32-Bit RISC Microcontroller with 256-Kbyte On-Chip Flash Memory for In-Vehicle Inverter Control
The SH7147F incorporates an SH-2 32-bit CPU core, and with a maximum operating frequency of 64 MHz achieves an approximately 1.3-fold improvement in processing performance compared with the 50 MHz operation of the current SH7047F. The 256-Kbyte on-chip flash memory can always be accessed in one cycle (15.6 ns) at 64 MHz operation, contributing to faster program processing. This combination of features provides the SH7147F with high-performance processing capability.
The SH7147F is provided with peripheral functions suited to inverter control. The newly developed 12-bit A/D converter offers an approximately 30% reduction in conversion time compared with the 10-bit A/D converter of the current product, and achieves an approximately 2-fold improvement in absolute precision, as well as high speed and performance. The A/D converter incorporates two modules, each with three sample-and-hold circuit channels, enabling simultaneous sampling and simultaneous conversion of the motor current U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of a brushless DC motor. This allows simultaneous high-precision control of two brushless DC motors. Two inverter control timer modules an MTU2 and MTU2S are also provided, with operating speeds of 32 MHz for the MTU2 and 64 MHz the same as the CPU core speed for the MTU2S, while a newly added A/D conversion start request delayed function and interrupt request thinning-out function make possible A/D conversion coordinated with PWM (pulse width modulation) output delay and arbitrary A/D conversion timing generation on the user side. The specifications provide for software compatibility with the MTU of the current product, enabling programs written for the current product to be used. This helps shorten the development time for a high-precision motor control system.
Comprehensive communication-related peripheral functions are also included. A single-channel RCAN-ET with a 16-mailbox configuration (15 mailboxes for transmission/reception, one mailbox for reception only) is provided as an interface compatible with the CAN in-vehicle LAN specification, while a single-channel 4-wire SSU and 3-channel SCI with asynchronous and synchronous communication capability facilitate communication with other electronic units and ICs. Also included are an external expansion function (8-bit data bus width) and a DTC*5 enabling data transfer to internal and external memory without CPU intervention. This comprehensive set of peripheral functions makes it possible to minimize the size of a high-performance system.
The package is the 100-pin LQFP (14 mm x 14 mm, 0.5 mm pin pitch), enabling the small mounting area.
The SH7147F features a wide operating ambient temperature range of 40ēC to 125ēC , enabling it to be used in the engine room of a vehicle, for example.
Available software development environment tools include a C/C++ compiler package, simulator/debugger, flash memory programming tool, and emulator (E200F). |
