Macronix offers Serial Flash products from 512Kb to 128Mb densities up to 85 Mhz clock-rates for best performance. Products are available in 8-pin SOP (150mil), 8-SON (6 x 5mm) or 16-pin SOP (300 mil) package. These devices are offered in x1 organization, support read, erase and program operations. MX25 series products offer a serial peripheral interface (SPI) and a software protocol allowing operation on a simple 3-wire bus. The three bus signals are: clock input (SCLK), serial data input (SI), and serial data output (SO). SPI access to the device is enabled by the CS input. This product family not only simplifies system hardware layout, but also increases system reliability by switching-noise minimization. These 3V products operate over a voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and provide sector size flexibility between 4KB and 64KB. |
