Designed around the popular MIPS RISC architecture, the VR4111 (µPD30111) offers excellent power consumption and outstanding performance in a high-integration, low-cost microprocessor. This processor is the first NEC device to use the ultralow power-consuming VR4110TM CPU core based on NEC's advanced 0.25micron technology. The VR4111 is compatible with MIPS I, II, III and MIPS16 instruction set architectures. The high speed, compact size, low power consumption and feature-rich, on-chip integration of the VR4111 make it ideal for use in embedded, handheld or stationary consumer applications.
