Features, Applications

The S-8254 series is a protection IC for or 4-serial cell lithium ion rechargeable batteries and includes a high-accuracy voltage detector and delay circuit. The S-8254 series protects both or 4-serial cells using the SEL pin for switching.

Features

(1) High-accuracy voltage detection for each cell Overcharge detection voltage (50 mV steps) Accuracy mV *1 Accuracy 50 mV Overcharge release voltage V *1. Overcharge hysteresis voltage to 4) can be selected V or from a range 50 mV steps. (Overcharge hysteresis voltage = Overcharge detection voltage - Overcharge release voltage) Overdischarge detection voltage (100 mV steps)
