DESCRIPTION The device is a monolithic high voltage integrated circuit designed to drive CFL and small TL l amps with a m inimum part count. It provides all the necessary functions for pr oper preheat, ignition and s teady s tate operation of the lam p: variable frequency oscillator;
settable preheating and ignition tim e; capacitive m ode protection; lamp po wer in depende nt from mains voltage var iation.
Besides the control functions, the IC provides the l evel s hift and drive function for two external power M OS F ETs i n a half-bridge topology.
