GENERAL NOTES
STATIC PRECAUTIONS All quartz crystal oscillators can contain devices which are deemed to be static sensitive. Full handling precautions must be followed at all times when dealing with these devices. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product. A useful guide is BS5783 1987 'Code of practice for Handling ESD'.
MECHANICAL PRECAUTIONS Handling Care must be taken to avoid damage during use of the device. GPS product is built to withstand normal assembly practices, however, levels of shock or vibration in excess of those specified may result in degraded performance or in extreme cases total failure of the product.
