The Bookham Technology terra-Q 1 by 8 50GHz Channel spacing Mux/Dmux module is based on thin-film interference filter technology. Three module design options are available. Standard Version
This version of the product uses a simple cascade of 50GHz filters to provide the mux or demux function. The mux and demux are built as complementary pairs giving the lowest overall loss.

Uniform Loss Version
This version of the product has the loss balanced between channels to achieve lowest channel-to-channel loss variation.
Low Chromatic Dispersion Versions
These versions offer lower values of chromatic dispersion at the expense of higher insertion loss.
