This device is designed for Ethernet and general applications and offers an excellent price/performance ratio for cost-effective solutions. Since it operates at low drive current, it generates m i n i m a l heat -- r e d u c i n g cooling requirements in systems employing large numbers of LEDs.

Mitel emitters and detectors can be p r o v i d e d in this low-profile ST ® package. The device is electrically isolated from the ST ® receptacle to facilitate electrical connection. And o p t i m u m fiber-coupled power or r e s p o n s i v i t y is ensured by active alignment against the fiber.
