This device consists of a PIN photodiode and a transimpedance amplifier assembled in a TO-46 package. It is d e s i g n e d for FDDI, ATM and S D H / S o n e t up to 155 Mbps. The AG C (Automatic Gain Control) ensures a wide dynamic range. Its d o u b l e - l e n s optical system is d e s i g n e d for single-mode fiber as well as for multimode fiber with core diameter up to 62.5µm.
